Traditional French Polishing

We are Sydney’s French Polishing Experts

Traditional French Polishing dates back to the Victorian times and is commonly found on antique and heritage furniture. The process of a French Polish is extremely labour intensive but it produces a tough and very glossy surface which is far superior than any mass production method. It takes years and a lot of patience to master the art of French polishing, our master craftsmen have learnt their skills over decades with some of our French Polishers having 50 years experience in this very specialised field. We take complete pride in all of our work and we are incredibly meticulous ensuring that the end result will be simply stunning!

Over the years we have restored many beautiful pieces of antique furniture, we treat each piece with care and respect and understand that many of these antique pieces have a sentimental value to their owners. There simply is no better way to bring a piece of furniture back to life by restoring its French polish.
